Life's not the breath you take, the breathing in and out, that gets you through the day, ain't what's it all about. You just might miss the point, trying to win the race. Life's not the breaths you take, but the moments that take your breath away.

Those were some of the lyrics from a new song by George Strait. The melody, and balance of the lyrics are tearjerkers, no doubt. I have put the song at the end of this post, and is worth a listen. The melody is romantic, soft, and loving. His voice, well is George Strait. Although the song is not specifically about romantic love, of which is what I write about, it is about life and think everyone would enjoy.

However, the first chorus is so loving sounding, and romantic, and has so much to say about romantic love. It is all about the moments that take your breath away.

Did you remember that's what life is all about? Did you? Do you reflect on your history, your past, sometimes and remember these moments that take your breath away?

These moments in time are what is precious in your life. Maybe sad, and maybe happy, but it's not the breaths you take, but the moments that take your breath away. Don't ever forget these in your life.

The person who always gave you butterflies in your stomach, the kiss you will never forget, a lost love, a love that is there with you now. The thought, that feeling, one that will never be duplicated, one that you will tell everyone about, and one that you will tell no one about. These moments are just so precious. A moment that has passed. Just one moment in time.
