I Wonder If They Ever Think About Me

One thing that is often asked is, "I wonder if they ever think about me". That question in your mind only happens with someone who has made an impact on your life, and unrequited love.

The question of who has this on their mind is many times both people. The one who was let go, and maybe still pining for that person, always has that question on their mind. Yes, they were "kicked to the curb" yet still think of the person.

I wonder if they ever think of me is a common question. Usually the person they were involved with was more then the run of the mill relationship and had affected their life in an unusually close way. And as life forces us to go on every day, we do. However when missing that person, or being reminded of them by listening to a song, a place you used to go, etc, it is only natural to say to yourself, I wonder if they ever think about me.

And as far as the person that let you go, and moved on, that is exactly what they did, was move on. And no, they don't think about you. Sorry.

Love is a funny thing, and I think we all know that. One minute you just love the hell out of each other, and before you know it, someone is getting dumped. How does one person go from loving you to death one minute, and all of a sudden you two break up? We are human. Someone gets tired of someone, or gets to know someone more and more each day, only to find that you don't make them happy any more.

No matter what happened, or the circumstances surrounding it, cut your losses and continue to live your life. Yes, I know about the emotions involved here, but the bottom line is no matter what it is, if it is not working out well, and someone wants an open relationship, or wants to date other people, or we are getting to serious too fast, or I want to be free, or whatever it is, the bottom line is they have had their fill with you and are not happy anymore with you.

They don't like or love you anymore. I know this isn't a pleasant thing to here, and I am not trying to be insensitive.

You can call it what you want, make excuses, try to change, or whatever, it will not make a difference and it's over. The sooner you can come to terms with your broken heart, the sooner you can forgive and forget.

I wonder if they ever think about me? No, they are not thinking about you. This is real life, and not a Hallmark movie. When it's over, it's over. I'm not saying it's right. I'm not saying it's fair. I'm saying, it' just the way it is.
